Dr. R.G. Cravens, III
I am an experienced social scientist trained in quantitative and qualitative research methods, focusing on social and political behavior. As a Professor of Political Science, I teach and lead student research teams in studies of sexuality, religion, and politics. I generally analyze primary sourced data collected through survey and interview methods.

I am also an activist-turned-academic, having worked for and founded several non-profit and grassroots activist organizations serving marginalized populations in rural communities.

I received my PhD from the University of Tennessee in 2017 and I currently work at Cal Poly, SLO, in the nation's largest public university system.
